"Teuto in Dialogue – back on track" on 10 March at the Heimathaus Verl

Heimatverein Verl and RDC Deutschland invite you to a dialogue regarding the reactivation of the Teutoburger Wald Eisenbahn.

The Teutoburger Wald Eisenbahn has been part of the RDC Deutschland group since November 2024 and is working on the reactivation project for the Harsewinkel – Verl route. The implementation is scheduled for December 2027. "How this can be successfully implemented and what resources are necessary are questions that interest citizens and businesses," says Beate Behlert, Chair of Heimatverein Verl. Answers and information about the project will be provided by Managing Directors Marcus Ebert and Henrik Wilkening at a joint event with Heimatverein Verl. On Monday, 10 March at 18:00, all interested parties are invited to the event "Teuto in Dialogue – back on track" at Heimathaus Verl, Sender Straße. Marcus Ebert, who has been the Managing Director of Teutoburger Wald Railway since December 2024 and is newly onboard with RDC Deutschland, will personally introduce himself and report on the reactivation process. "We look forward to getting to know everyone and want to be available personally for questions and concerns from citizens, businesses, or even politicians," says Marcus Ebert. In the future, the company intends to regularly report on the progress of the reactivation. This will ensure that all citizens, interested parties, and businesses remain informed and facilitate regular exchanges among them. Ebert adds: "Success is not an individual product for us; the transport transition can only succeed together." The event is free of charge. Questions about the project can be sent in advance to Nicole Pizzuti, Head of Corporate Communications, RDC Deutschland at presse@rdc-deutschland.de by 5 March.
