Norddeutsche Eisenbahn Niebüll expands its range of services and training related to maintenance.
On 1 June, the workshop team began operating in two shifts for rail and road vehicles.
Since the beginning of June, the Niebüll workshop team of the Norddeutsche Eisenbahn Niebüll, which is part of the RDC Deutschland group, has expanded its offerings in this area. Officially starting on 3 June, trained mechanics/mechatronics engineers and electricians began working in a two-shift operation. For this purpose, five new skilled workers have been hired; in addition, the company trains young school graduates within the framework of traditional vocational training in these skilled trades.
Internal and external service on approximately 15,000 square metres of floor space
On a total of three vehicle tracks, two of which are for rail-bound vehicles, the Norddeutsche Eisenbahn Niebüll offers excellent service to both internal and external partners and customers. Up to 4 rail vehicles and 3 commercial vehicles are available daily in the workshop hall, which covers around 1,000 square metres. "We are pleased about this recognition, as the expansion is also a sign that our work is valued and that we are known as a reliable partner," agree Sven Hamann, Head of Workshop, and Ingo Ahrendt, Managing Director of Norddeutsche Eisenbahn Niebüll.
