Two years on air
AUTOZUG RADIO Sylt celebrates its second anniversary on 1 March
On 1 March 2023, the first sounds from AUTOZUG Radio Sylt were heard. Since then, station manager Frank Bremser has been delighting listeners across Germany and even overseas with news, music, event tips, and information about the blue AUTOZUG Sylt, which is part of the RDC Deutschland group.
With its unique concept, AUTOZUG RADIO Sylt accompanies passengers of the blue train to the island, offering them not only relaxing music but also valuable service information, traffic updates, and exciting insights into island life. Whether locals or visitors, the station has established itself as a reliable source of information and an entertaining companion. "We are proud to have been part of the Sylt media landscape for two years and to provide our listeners with a dependable mix of information and music," says station manager Frank Bremser. "From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a pleasant atmosphere for travellers and to provide them with useful information for their stay."
"We are honoured to be pioneers in innovation with the launch of AUTOZUG RADIO Sylt two years ago, offering our customers not only comfortable transport but also excellent service on board," says Torge Nielsen, managing director of AUTOZUG Sylt.
AUTOZUG RADIO Sylt broadcasts around the clock and is available via livestream at www.radio-sylt.de. This way, the island feeling remains audible even beyond the borders of Sylt. SYLT1, the Sylt television station, also provides current news and traffic reports for the programme. Furthermore, the radio station records over 150,000 stream starts per month across Germany and worldwide.
